Battlefield excursion

Narvik and the surrounding region’s dramatic history from World War II is well known in the history books. For two months a bitter battle for Narvik and the iron-ore raged between the invading forces and the French, Polish and Norwegian troops on land, and a considerable British flotilla at sea.
