"Thank you so much for an excellent trip. It was great to see so much in such a short time and it was all extremely well organized"
"Just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for a wonderful trip and experience in Norway. It was a successful trip for me and I learned a great deal in the various ports. Thank you for setting up this opportunity for us to explore a small portion of Norway. Love to do it again should the chance arise"
"I would like to thank you and all the people involved in the organization of the fam trip. You've done a great job: everything was perfectly organised. I'm happy that the schedule was so intense, because this has given me the opportunity to see and do so many things, and to test most of the attractions that are included in our shore excursion program, and also gathering information about port facilities and new projects. Very good! Beyond my expectation"

- EDVARD GRIEG CONCERT AND SPECTACULAR FOLK DANCE
From 2010 Hardangerfjord will be offering a piano concert in Ulvik Church by the famous pianist Rune Alver. He has recorded 2 highly rated CDs featuring the music of Grieg, and for many years he has been giving concerts in Norway and abroad. Through words and melodies he will illustrate how Grieg was inspired by Norwegian folk music.
The guests will then walk to Brakanes Hotel (only 4 minutes away) for a spectacular performance of folk dancing and Hardanger fiddle music. The programme also includes coffee and cakes.

- FRUIT AND CIDER WALK IN THE ORCHARD OF NORWAY
Next year Ulvik is introducing a pleasant walk in the surrounding hills where four fruit farms produce sweet cherries, plums, apples and pears. We will be visiting two of them to learn a bit more about their origins and how they can exist at 60 degrees north. Refreshments made at the farm will be served. A visit to the cider and juice plant is included - and a taste of the production will certainly be on the menu!

KARASJOK - The Sami experience
Kárásjohka is at the very heart of the Sami region, and it is the cultural and social capital of Lapland.
80% of the population speak Sami, with Sami and Norwegian having equal status in the municipality. The service industry is the biggest employer, while other important industries are reindeer herding, farming and traditional outfield industries such as hunting and fishing.
Karasjok has lots to offer when it comes to excursions, outdoor activities and the Sami culture. Untouched nature and the wilderness on the plateau, prepared ski tracks, organised hunting and fishing trips, gold washing, ski, dog sledging and scooters tours, joik and enjoying traditional food in a Sami lávvu are just some of the activities to choose from.
Cruise Port Barents shore excursion programme in Karasjok varies from a few hours to a whole day at Sapmi Park, and in Sami surroundings.
