Golf

Golf is a tremendously popular sport in Norway, and new golf courses are popping up many places throughout the country. Most golf courses are in the Oslo area and near the cities of Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim, but there are also some in smaller areas. In Lofoten, Bodø, Narvik, Harstad, Tromsø and Hammerfest you can play midnight-sun golf 24 h./day from June to August. If you are looking for a unique golf experience, there are occasional golf competitions on ice or snow.
